Hired Live Video Consult

Today, we will go over Monetization Strategy #2: Hired Live Video Consult Lessons. If you want to see Monetization Strategy #1, Hired Stroke Analysis Lessons, click here

In a Hired Live Video Consult, coaches set their rates and calendar availability. Coaches can send their rate sheet out over social media and to their students via email and text. Once a coach gets hired, a notification is sent to the coach letting them know the date and time of the scheduled Live Video Consult.

Players can send their coach any length video. Players can also record a full length match on FCT or they can load a prerecorded match onto the FCT app through Dropbox. Dropbox seamlessly connects to the FCT app on your device but you need Dropbox app loaded onto device. In addition, Coach or player can log into the FCT website and seamlessly upload a video into the lesson space.

In order for a Player to hire a Coach, navigate to Hire a Coach tab.

Players search for a Coach and check out their profile. Here is an example of a Coach that can be hired for a Live Video Consult Lesson.

Players can look at a Coach's availability to hire for a Live Video Consult Lesson.

Player: How To Access the Live Video Call Lesson Space

Go to Coach Lessons tab on the Home Screen.

Search for your Coach that you have the lesson with.

Here is the Live Video Consult Lesson opened up. Notification was given and now we can press Start Live Consult.

As you can see, the Live Video Consult allows you to chat with your Player. Now Coach and Player have entered the Live Video Consult room. Now the Coach is going to share his screen and go over the video that the Player sent. Coach should tap the white button to broadcast his screen which will enable him to analyze the video the player has sent.

Once the circle turns red, the Coach can start the broadcast of the screen. The Coach should press the light grey area outside the dark rectangle to begin the broadcast of their screen.

After the Coach has pressed the area outside the rectangle, they can see a horizontal grey line at the top of the screen. The Coach swipes down on this line to to share their screen and play any video within the Lesson Space. The Player does not have to do anything, the Coach is the one controlling the screen.

After swiping down to screen share, open the video, and you can annotate the match on a Live Video Call as you go through it with your Player.
