As you're aware, on FCT we have one-to-one coaching in-app with the option for you to start free private lessons with any student. You can add on a fee to your regular weekly in person lesson rate as an extra service that gives your student important and valuable information to constantly review and improve their game. In addition, coaches can set their rates to get hired in FCT.
This feature is the Player Assessment that you create and will give the coach the ability to do a complete road map of a player’s game where they are and how they will arrive at their destination as a much improved player. The player will be able to take a video of their match with the FCT app or easily load a match up to the FCT app or website and then the coach will be able to analyze it: record over it in an easy to use flexible format which includes auto record at any speed and then switch on the fly to annotation in which you can draw, scroll, and go back and forth between the formats for an ideal analysis. Never has an app had so many versatile features to add to the coaching experience.
The Player Assessment that you create will be the keys for your road map or blue-print of your player’s game, where they are, and where they're going to. This assessment is also very important in seeing whether the coach and player are on the same page. This can be CRUCIAL in establishing a long term relationship.
Another strategy to grow your business off court is to use Multiple Participant Lesson Spaces for any groups you might work with in this type of setting to grow your off court revenue stream. You can get them in a group together-- for example juniors or adults. Then, find the players that have the similar skill level, drive, time commitment, and ambition. Sorting your players into groups with the same level of play helps the group by promoting appropriate skills and moving them together in a supportive collaborative method. All instruction and collaboration in the group lesson helps them focus on their level of play with the goal of moving forward.
-How many times a week are you going to post tips & drills to the group?
-How many times a week are the players going to send you strokes?
-How many times a week do you plan to analyze to their strokes?
-What hours of the day do you plan on responding via the FCT app?
-How much do you want to charge them?
For instance, you might want to charge a group with 5 players an extra $100 each a month to be in the group. Send them a couple of tips and drills each week. They can post in the group, comment, and you can respond a couple of times a week.
Once you start a group, you can also send them a welcome message. In the welcome message, say you're going to follow up and the players should send a video of a certain stroke of the week and you can analyze it. This is a great way to help your players.
Leverage Multiple Participant Lesson Spaces to enhance your offerings to grow your off court revenues. Learn to get away from hourly on the court rates. As you can see, coaching your players as a group provides a more complete, comprehensive, and effective way forward. Make sure you correctly manage your assessment of the player to make sure that your players are in the right group.
