VIDEO TRANSCRIPTION: Hi, I'm Brian teacher and welcome to Full Court Tennis. Today, on the third step of the forehand volley challenge, I'm going to show you how to rotate your torso for more power. We see right here the first thing Nick is going to set his wrist back with and eastern FH grip (can also use a continental grip) he pivots turn his right foot out and loads that torso across and onto the right foot. See how when he lays that wrist back the torso loads across his body on the right foot as he picks up and releases the left foot . He's going to press to the center of the ball of his right foot and then stretch that left foot forward. And see he's coming through the ball of his foot with a lot more energy now. And let's watch it again right here. Move your feet, set the wrist from the ready position. See how that right foot turns out there? That's the first move right there. Wrist is laid back, left arm across. And now he's going to push through that right foot and stretch the legs foot left forward and just kind of push and come forward through the feet. The torso and the shoulder uncoil and comes through and he straightens the forearm and punches right through the hit landing forward through the left leg. There as he comes through, watch the forearm straightens and the shoulder comes through with the wrist stays back. Just this easy movement right here you got to get used to so that all the energy is transferred through your body into the hip and torso uncoiling the body so that the hit tak in front of your body every time so you can have a dynamic forehand volley. And let's keep watching it every time, right here, move the feet, transfer the energy right there, pushing. Try practicing at least 15 minutes a day until you master each step. Post your progress to the full court feed and or hire a coach in-app for a virtual lesson. Stay focused, enjoy the process, and always listen to your body.
